Once you figure out how to unlock Wii, you will experience a gaming system that blows all the others away. The only thing that sets the other systems a bit above the Wii is the multimedia features that the manufacturers have put onto them. For example, the PS3 can play Blu-Ray discs and the Xbox 360 can play DVDs. For some reason, Nintendo decided to not allow either of these onto the Wii when they released it.
As far as the actual gaming experience goes though, I think the Wii has them both beat hands down. Once you unlock your Wii with Homebrew, the limitations are gone and you will have a gaming system that does everything the others can do and much more.
So what are some of the things you can do when you unlock your Wii?
1. You can play backup games. We all know how important this is. Games are expensive and they get lost, stolen, or damaged very easily. If you’re able to make backup copies of your games, you don’t have to worry about wasting money on them ever again.
2. You can download and play emulators. These are games from other consoles such as Sega Genesis, Original Nintendo, SNES, and much more. There are some really cool classic games out there that a lot of us miss playing because we no longer have the system for them anymore. When you figure out how to unlock Wii, you will be playing all these games again in no time.
3. You can watch movies on your Wii. One of the biggest complaints I had about the Wii was that they don’t allow you to watch movies with it. After you install Wii Homebrew though, you will be able to use it as a DVD player just like all the other systems have.
4. You will have access to other Homebrew Apps and be able to browse the internet on it.
As you can see, the benefits to unlocking your Wii with Homebrew are awesome. I will be posting my full guide on how to unlock Wii in a few days so keep checking back for it.
